In Ukraine, gas reserves have risen again

During the summer, blue fuel reserves increased by 46% to 23 billion cubic meters. This was reported by Ukrtransgaz. The available volume now exceeds last year’s figures by more than 2 times (it is almost 6.6 – 12 billion cubic meters). It is planned that by the beginning of the heating season, underground gas storage facilities will increase by more than 2 – 4 billion cubic meters of gas in addition.

It is noted that gas reserves reached record levels last year – almost 20 billion cubic meters and due to the warm winter did not decrease much. Due to this, as well as reduced demand due to coronavirus, gas reserves have been increased.
