The NBU has introduced new rules to simplify the receipt of pensions through postal services

With the new rules, the NBU reduced the process of identifying recipients of pension benefits, subsidies, etc.

The purpose of this simplification is to improve and optimize the work of postal operators to adjust pension payments, which will significantly reduce the time of receiving money. At the same time, retirees will not feel any inconvenience during the identification process.

Now, in order to pay out funds in the amount of UAH 5,000 to 30,000, it is enough for the operator to compare the customer’s identity data with the data specified in the money transfer. After that, the client and the operator put a signature in the relevant documentation.

The NBU notes that it plans to further automate and simplify pension and social benefits. In addition, the government has included in the state budget for next year an increase in pension benefits, as well as surcharges for certain categories of citizens.

We remind you that these rules came into force on November 14.
