According to a survey conducted on the Jooble website on how distance to work affects the choice of vacancy, 50% of respondents said that they lose about 1 hour to get to work. About 18% spend half an hour and 11% – 2 hours.
Because of this, all job search polls want it to be within walking distance (for example, half an hour on foot, which is similar to 15 minutes in transport).
The biggest advantage of close work in the survey, people noted saving time for family and leisure, as well as saving money on travel.
At the same time, when choosing a vacancy, the area where the company’s office and transport interchange are located often plays a role, because if a person cannot get there without transfers, he will most likely refuse the vacancy.
